Jack Pictures edit

If anyone could find and upload pictures of the Jacks (all incarnations, if possible), that would be great. Poofyspikes 02:19, 21 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yes, someone find a pic to complete the set. This is a good article. -—Preceding unsigned comment added by Lengis (talkcontribs)
Oh I've done all that. -ZeroTalk 21:17, 15 March 2006 (UTC)Reply
Some of the pictures don't show exactly how Jack looks. Especially the Tekken 2 picture - this is Jack-2's alternate costume, not the original. Does anyone have the rendering of Jack-2's main costume?
Jack-2's main costume is identical to his one in Tekken 1, but with his less exaggerated proportions (all promotional art used his 2P costume.) Gerk 18:43, 20 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Also, can someone try and find a picture of P.Jack from Tekken 1? He was a different P.Jack, and the most interesting-looking of all the Jacks without a doubt; the P.Jacks in T1 and T2 look COMPLETELY different. Gerk 18:43, 20 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
They are costumes. The point of the encyclopedia is to depict the general appearence of the characters. What does it matter to the encyclopedia if there are straps are not...? -ZeroTalk 15:33, 23 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
Perhaps you intended to reply to the above chain of posts? A reply referring to costumes in response to a request to differentiate the P.Jack entities would be laden with logical fallacies. Gerk 01:21, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
I'm not certain. This conversation is very difficult to follow and I can't even tell whom is whom. -ZeroTalk 01:32, 25 June 2006 (UTC)Reply
I added a link to a picture of P. Jack 's Tekken 1 costume a few days ago. I found it on Tekkenpedia. However, it is a picture of P. Jack 's second costume in Tekken 1 and not his first costume in Tekken 1. I can't find any pics of his first costume in Tekken 1. KristiRenee / October 25, 2006.
I added a link to a picture of P. Jack 's first Tekken 1 costume. My other link to the Tekken 1 P. Jack got deleted. My new one isn't being shown, so I'm removing it. KristiRenee
I decided to upload the Tekken 1 Player 1 Prototype Jack image to the article after figuring out how to do so. KristiRenee 22:41, 13 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

My P.Jack pic edit

Where did it go? Why are all my pics disappearing? - The 4th Snake

I took that one out. It didn't fit on the article. If you look at the history, it was too big for the section it represented. If you want to readd it, just make sure it fits on the page.
Also, more pictures doesn't always improve an article. Sometimes, an article is better off just letting the text explain moreso than an overabundance of pics. King Zeal 19:50, 14 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Where is my pic of Jack-2's death? I added a line to the Jack-4 section and it's gone. Who the hell is getting rid of everything I add? - The 4th Snake

I understand, Zeal. To me, it seemed to fit in with the others more because of the blank background. But, who got rid of my Jack-2 pic? It shows an important part of the story of the Jacks. One's destrucion is probably the most important thing you can put in a pic of. And what happened to the ending section? It took me quite a while to sort that out. - The 4th Snake 18:11, 16 September 2006 (UTC)Reply

Capitalization? edit

Is the character's correct name Jack-x or JACK-x? I was playing through the PS2 port of Tekken 5 and noticed in Raven's opening a reference to him seeing "Heihachi surrounded by JACKs" 172.130.200.55 00:51, 3 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Jack 6 edit

I'm pretty sure that the new Jack robot in Tekken 6 is just a customised version of Jack 5. It even shows Jack 5 being customised to look like that in the trailer.Michael Mad 13:13, 18 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Nice job edit

Whoever got those model rips from Tekken 1 and 2, good work, I love them. I do think the page can use a bit of an organizational facelift though. - Emperor Bohe

Fair use rationale for Image:Jacktekken1.jpg edit

Image:Jacktekken1.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Vandalism edit

Removed the following text, "også suger han hårdt", that translates from Swedish, "and he sucks hard". Quite obviously some obnoxious Swedish troll is trying to vandalize this article. I alert you to keep a lookout for users that add such inappropriate text to any articles. 18:40, 25 July 2007 (UTC)

Prototype Jack edit

Shouldn't he be featured after Jack? The order of the appearance of the Jacks is Jack, Prototype Jack, Jack-2, Gun Jack, Jack-4, Jack-5, and Jack-6, after all. JunKazamaFan 23:52, 11 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Gun Jack 2 edit

In the Devil Within game, there seems to be an upgraded version of the Gun Jack. Why isn't this put in?-Guest User —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.81.63.231 (talk) 04:33, 11 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

It's the same Gun Jack. It can just be put in Gun Jack's section. In fact, I'll do it right now. Tekken-EX (talk) 01:16, 6 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Jack-4 edit

There's been lot of vandalism concerning the article about Jack-4(the first non-playable Jack robot) being first introduced in Tekken 4, where in actuality it was introduced in the intro of Tekken 5 as an army of mass-produced robots that fought Kazuya and Heihachi. Even the top article states, "Subsequent Tekken games feature an upgraded model with a slightly different name, with the exception of Tekken 4, in which he makes no appearance". Yet there's still people who says otherwise but has no proof to back up their argument. I think the reason for this may have to do with the fact that the Jack's number correlates with the game's sequel number(the only exception being Gun-Jack in Tekken 3). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.41.254.165 (talk) 22:34, 8 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

It specifically says Tekken 5 opening. Try to research more before you say otherwise. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.29.202.141 (talk) 04:54, 4 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
