Character names
editDisney gives the official main-cast character names here, here, here, here and here. These are the names the characters are known as and what will go in the actors resume as their official show credits. This article is supposed to emphasize an out-of-universe perspective on the show. Name enhancements revealed in passing in an episode are in-universe plot trivia. Eventually there is likely be a list of characters article that will serve to expand on the characters. That is the place to put more in-universe details about the characters. Likewise character names for guest and recurring cast should exactly match what the end credits of the episode they appear in say the name is. Geraldo Perez (talk) 01:14, 29 March 2014 (UTC)
Split episode list
editIt is proposed by Rocker36 that the episodes section of this article be split to a new article List of I Didn't Do It episodes. I undid a WP:BOLD WP:SPLIT and this discussion is to see if there is consensus to split or not. Geraldo Perez (talk) 09:47, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
Oppose: This article is still fairly short, the episode list is a major part of the article so a split is not needed now. When season two has scheduled episodes and a season 2 table is created then it would be an appropriate time to split the article. Until then it is better to have all the series info in a single article. Geraldo Perez (talk) 09:51, 4 July 2014 (UTC)- Oppose per Geraldo Perez. This is the general convention that we follow. Splitting the article at this time serves no useful purpose. --AussieLegend (✉) 11:21, 4 July 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose per convention. Even with the addition of the second season, it still might be too short to split. — Wyliepedia 08:24, 5 July 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose. The table is small enough to fit in this article. Jockmon (talk) 10:41, 3 August 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose.The list is small and it won't be necessary to split it into two pages.--ChamithN(talk)13:04, 12 August 2014 (CST)
- Support: I might have agreed with many of you a few months ago, but I think the episode list is long enough for a split now. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 05:41, 13 September 2014 (UTC)
- Oppose, until there's a second season. This article is not too long yet. – Epicgenius (talk) 19:52, 8 October 2014 (UTC)
- Support, but not now until there's a second season. --Mega-buses (discusión /

- So basically you're saying oppose, for now, then? – Epicgenius (talk) 18:17, 9 October 2014 (UTC)
- Basically Neutral (for now). I support the proposal, but the issue is that it is not appropriate to do it now. --Mega-buses (discusión / Talk) 00:16, 10 October 2014 (UTC)
- Wait Split when there are 2 seasons WikiEditor2016 (talk) 21:31, 23 November 2014 (UTC)

- Wait: In Season 1 sofar, there are 20 episodes. As of now, Season 2 has 4 episodes <ref>http://ididntdoit.wikia.com/wiki/Season_2</ref>. If Season 2 has more than 10 episodes, I say we should split it up.173.63.90.137 (talk) 21:28, 4 January 2015 (UTC) Disney Channel Lover 16:28, 4 January 2015

- Support: Now that season 2 episodes have been scheduled and there is a season 2 table in the article, I think now is an appropriate time to split the article. Geraldo Perez (talk) 04:30, 2 February 2015 (UTC)
- Support — Agreed. Should we go ahead and do it? — Confession0791 talk 07:53, 2 February 2015 (UTC)
- Support — There is enough content to be it's own article. Dcbanners (talk) 15:56, 2 February 2015 (UTC)
There appears to be sufficient support for a split now so I went ahead and did it. Geraldo Perez (talk) 16:35, 2 February 2015 (UTC)
Kang or King
editBoth have been added to article as Jasmine's revealed last name. Is this based on what was heard in an episode or was it supported by anything else written in the episode or in the subtitles? In my opinion King is significantly more likely as a last name. Geraldo Perez (talk) 23:59, 15 October 2014 (UTC)
- To answer my own question - fair-use quote extracts from subtitles of I Didn't Do It episode "Bad News"
- 62 00:02:57,845 --> 00:03:00,812 I'm Jasmine Kang, ...
- 219 00:09:43,082 --> 00:09:45,050 Hi, I'm Jasmine Kang.
- 309 00:13:35,248 --> 00:13:36,981 Jazzy Jas Kang!
- 367 00:16:19,312 --> 00:16:25,616 This is Jazzy Jas Kang ...
- So it looks like "Kang" is supported. Geraldo Perez (talk) 14:28, 16 October 2014 (UTC)
Waukegan or Evanston?
editI always thought the show took place in Evanston, Illinois, not Waukegan, Illinois. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 13:02, 20 October 2014 (UTC)
- In this show, they really only give you a hint of the state (Illinois). There really aren't clues about the specific town. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.63.90.137 (talk) 21:25, 4 January 2015 (UTC)
Series ended?
editSo today's episode ended in a finale? I didn't know that until I saw the information. So what's going to happened next another season till next week or month? Or something else?--Funnycoolman (talk) 04:38, 17 October 2015 (UTC)
- I wonder the same thing. Although I have no idea if I actually finish the series.--Philip J Fry (talk) 05:08, 17 October 2015 (UTC)
- See this source, which states it's the series finale. Amaury (talk) 05:32, 17 October 2015 (UTC)
