User steam reviews edit

@Benlisquare: I didn't want to revert this outright because this source does have value. I don't think this should be used to source Steam reviews. It's a single passing mention. What do we care? HOWEVER. The source itself should be used for what it actually is: A secondary source review of the game. This is why I didn't want to revert the citation outright. A sentence or two about the review itself should be included here, especially as we completely lack any critical reviews at this time. -- ferret (talk) 11:57, 24 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Ferret: Understood, I see your point. The source is quite brief in its description of the game, however, and it seems much of its content is already covered by the Gameplay and Development sections, already adequately covered by other sources; it doesn't provide its own analysis or critique of the game like a proper game review would. I originally brought this source over because it was being used by the other language Wikipedias to cite the Steam rating. Because there's somewhat of a lack of full, proper reviews of this game, I thought that briefly mentioning the Steam review would be a "this'll do for now" to demonstrate reception until actual critiques are published, but you make a compelling argument regarding the triviality of this rating score. --benlisquareTCE 01:53, 25 June 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Benlisquare: The relevant guidelines for that section in the MOS are at WP:VG/REC. The 2nd to last bullet is about user reviews. Basically, is there anything notable about the reviews by users? Typically this only occurs when there's a situation such as review bombing happening that the secondary sources take notice of. That hasn't happened here, it's just a game the users liked and one or two sources made a single sentence mentioning it. It's unfortunate that there's not much concrete reception for the game. -- ferret (talk) 12:08, 25 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

artistic director edit

"Łukasz Piskorz [...] developed the entirety of the game by himself over an estimated one-year period and was the game's artistic director". Isn't that somewhat redundant? It's already been he's the sole developer. 185.163.103.83 (talk) 00:58, 18 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Should we talk about reception to the game? edit

Is it worth mentioning the reviews and popular reception of the game, or is this page not really large/popular enough to warrant such a section? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2601:240:c402:3750:34bb:81fb:8e7c:698b (talk) 20:56, 18 May 2021 (UTC)Reply

Reception from reliable secondary sources should be included, regardless of size/popularity, if they exist. See WP:VG/RS for a list of vetted reliable sources. Forums and user reviews are not acceptable per WP:USERG. -- ferret (talk) 21:02, 18 May 2021 (UTC)Reply
