There is no such thing as the "Gogo Reef Formation"
editThere is no formal stratigraphic unit called the "Gogo Reef Formation" - the technical term as defined by Teichert is simply "Gogo Formation" and this is how it is always designated in the primary literature. The use of the word "Reef" in recent publicity regarding Materpiscis is the result of an editorial gaffe on the media release package. Checked with John Long about it and he responded: "Im aware Gogo Reef Formation is incorrect - we can never trust the media to get it totally right" Ozraptor4 (talk) 05:17, 5 June 2008 (UTC)
