Jeronim-Girolamo edit

Some of Prodebugger's moves like the one of Toçi-Toccio were correct, but English-language sources use both versions of the name.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 16:37, 18 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Girolamo de Rada was Italian. He was born "Girolamo de Rada". De Rada isn't even a surname of Arbereshe origins or Albanian, but it's Spanish. See: Arcelus Ulibarrena J. M., "L’origine spagnola del cognome De Rada e la spedizione della “Compagnia Navarra” in Albania nel 1376", Atti del convegno "I Centenario della morte di Girolamo De Rada", Rende, Macchia Albanese, San Demetrio Corona [Cosenza], 2-5 ottobre, 2003, A cura di Altimari F., Centro Editoriale e Librario dell'Università della Calabria:Rende, 2008, pp. 437-457.--Prodebugger (talk) 22:53, 18 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Also Ahmeti and many other surnames used by people of Albanian origin aren't Albanian. The source just says that the surname is of Spanish origin, so please stick to that.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 00:27, 19 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
I totally agree with you, many other surnames used by people of Albanian origin aren't Albanian. --Prodebugger (talk) 18:22, 19 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
Then please don't use a source that says this surname is of Spanish origin as a person that has that surname is of Spanish origin.--— ZjarriRrethues — talk 07:41, 23 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
The origin of the surname De Rada is not Spanish, it is Navarro, from the Kingdom of Navarra, Spain as such did not exist in 1376 AD. 81.44.219.76 (talk) 14:28, 11 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

Not Albanian edit

The Albanian categories are meant for nationals of the State of Albania, not for ethnic Albanians who lived in other states. I am thinking thd Albanian-language writer Category is good. We may need a CategoryAlbanian people from Italy as well.John Pack Lambert (talk) 19:25, 7 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
