Talk:Gevork Minaskanian

[Untitled] edit

This entry was created to make a reference to the drug rotigotine developers. There was misleading information in the older definition of the drug. Before edited the definition explained that drug was developed by Schwarz Pharma, this is incorrect.Aderis Pharmaceuticals was the actual developer of the drug. They later partnered with Schwarz Pharma and gave the rights of production and distribution of the drug to the German company. Schwarz Pharma already has its own entry in Wikipedia, but it's also important to have an entry for Aderis Pharmaceuticals and Dr.Gevork Minaskanian in Wikipedia so that readers can understand who the actual developers of this drug are. It's important to mention that Dr. Gevork Minaskanian has already been mentioned in Wikipedia in the definition for Virginia Commonwealth University (please check under notable faculty) and I don't see why we should not give credit to this VCU Doctor/Professor for the development of a revolutionary drug that is actually being sold in Europe and is under FDA testing to be marketed in USA. New external links were posted at the end of the definition to cross-reference information already given. Users please take time to verify information provided from the links below before speedy deletion. Dr. Gevork Minaskanian is a person of significance and importance in the field of organic/medical chemistry research and Parkinson's disease drug studies in the United States and considerations should be taken before deleting this entry under CSD A7. This drug will eventually stop most noticeable problems related to parkinson's disease when sold in the US. Active research is being done in the mean time to add more external links and references to his entry.
