Pending Improvements

edit

I am sending this as a notification that I soon will be contributing what are aimed to be improvements to this article. Part of this contribution will include how natural resources are exploited and the environment is both positively and negatively impacted with the introduction of first world industries into developing countries. Other aspects on the problems arising from the exploitation of natural resources, such as the various effects it has on people and animals, will also be added. These edits will be implemented by the end of the month. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Jshusain (talkcontribs) 29 February 2012 (UTC)

What is the purpose of this page? I think this page is using two conflicting definitions for "exploitation". The first sentence refers to the concept of using a resource for economic purposes, while the rest of the article mostly talks about exploitation as the improper use of resources, often for selfish reasons. One needs to be picked and run with. Since most of the assumes the second definition, I'm inclined to rewrite the opening. Is there any reason I shouldn't? Water gasification, can anybody help explain?

edit

I'm wondering what the real meaning of 'water gasification', as one of the results of overexploitation of natural resources. Thanks in advance for any assistance. ThomasYehYeh (talk) 02:22, 1 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
