1. It is reasonably well written.

   The writing needs work. Aside from an overall copyedit, the biggest problem is that numerous one-sentence paragraphs. Try to merge as many as you can together. Also, per MoS, don't begin sentences with a number character.

   Are you sure no more impact information can be included? The Haiti and Jamaica sections seem to need some fleshing out.

   I see what you mean, but there isn't that much to add. Dean's effects, while significant, were much lighter than you might expect from a Cat4/5. Hopefully by merging the Haiti and Dominican Republic sections in Hispanola I have stopped them looking all strung out. Plasticup ^T/C 12:39, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

The article is much improved since I began the review. Looks like the content is there, and the prose has been improved as well. I'll pass, but before FA, there are some minor MoS and prose issues that need to be addressed. –Juliancolton ^{Tropical Cyclone} 13:19, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
