This article is so important and requires a lot more information in order to fully explore the idea of education in Guatemala as a whole. More information should be added throughout the entire page, relating to more than just the systematic implementation of education. Education is a huge issue in Guatemala and should be addressed thoroughly in this article. I would recommend adding some revisions and new sections to make the article more well-rounded in the entire field of education. Annkat22 (talk) 16:46, 10 September 2015 (UTC)

Proposed new sub-section

Hi everyone,

I am researching education in Guatemala for a volunteer trip there in Summer 2019.

I would like to add a small (1-2 paragraph) subs-section to the main page entitled "Rural Schools."

This sub-section would talk about the facilities at Guatemalan schools in rural areas, such as whether they have electricity or computer labs.

Please relay any questions, concerns, or suggestions. I am still working on the text of the sub-section, but can add it here if people would like to read before they give feedback.

Thanks!
