How then, does http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gandia fit in in all this?
According to his bio: Juan Borgia inherited the Spaniard title Duke of Gandia, the Borgias' ancestral home in Spain. So if he inherited the title of Duke of Gandia because he lived in Gandia, why isn't any of this mentioned in this page?
Actually, Juan's brother, Pedro Luis, inherited the lands that would become the Duchy of Gandia. He was proclaimed Duke of Gandia in 1485. When Pedro Luis died in 1491, Juan inherited his estates.
