Talk:Doha Centre for Media Freedom

Chris Cramer - easy creation of a new wikipedia article edit

Chris Cramer is former head of CNN International, a survivor of a hostage situation at the Iranian Embassy in London in which security forces successfully freed most of the hostages alive and gave credibility to Maggie Thatcher's iron fist, was former head of BBC Newsgathering and was global editor for multimedia at Reuters (now part of Thomson-Reuters Corporation ?). And now he's on the Advisory Council of the Doha Center for Media Freedom. i'm not going to give sources here :P, but my point is that he's probably a highly notable mainstream media person, even if he gets less coverage than tv anchors and star journalists. It sounds like he's someone who should have a wikipedia entry and it shouldn't be hard to find plenty of reliable sources. Just a suggestion for someone looking for useful tasks to do... As of 00:17, 24 December 2008 (UTC) his link is red. Boud (talk) 00:17, 24 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
