Publishing Information edit

These two issues of Computer Gaming World

refer to Accolade as the publisher. For Developer one lists Sydney Development Corp. and the other lists Rick Banks and Michael Bate, who are linked to Sydney Development Corp. in documents about the game B.C. Quest Fore Tires.

Furthermore, this manual

claims that the copyright belongs to Accolade. This manual has Avantage on the cover. According to this Wikipedia article, Avantage rereleased Desert Fox, but I could find no other source except for the afore mentioned manual, which implies something along those lines.

I could not find definitive proof that Accolade published this game before or at the same time U.S. Gold did. However, U.S. Gold is supposed to have specialized in taking games made in the United States and rereleasing them in Europe. Their ad for Desert Fox, featured on this webpage,

http://pirates.emucamp.com/a/d/desertfox/c64/main.html

had "All American Software" printed under the US Gold logo. At the top of that webpage is a purported publication history that is more detailed than anything else I found on the internet, but has no references. --RampagingCarrot (talk) 01:45, 26 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

I changed the developer to Sydney Development Corp. and I added the manual as a reference, but I'm unsure if I formatted reference correctly. Also not sure if I should add the pirates webpage as a reference. RampagingCarrot (talk) 18:16, 26 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
