Queen’s Anniversary Prizes

edit

I'd be grateful if somebody could add something about the Queen's Anniversary Prizes for Higher and Further Education recently awarded to Coventry University's Institute for Advanced Manufacturing & Engineering: [1] [2]. I won't, as I'm currently employed at the University. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 16:00, 25 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Done Placing this under the Awards subsection of the Academic profile section. Regards,  Spintendo  16:50, 25 February 2020 (UTC)Reply

Wroclaw

edit

Coventry University has a new campus, at Wroclaw, Poland [3]. Could someone add something about this, please? (I am employed as Wikimedian in Residence at Coventry University.) Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 15:38, 11 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

@Dylsss: Sorry I missed this at the time; and thank you. There is also now a campus in Greenwich, London: [4]. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 16:34, 29 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
@Pigsonthewing: I'm sure it would be fine for you to add this in yourself, it seems pretty uncontroversial. Seagull123 Φ 23:19, 5 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Coventry Polytechnic superseded Lanchester before 1987...

edit

The current date of Coventry Polytechnic is 1987, this is incorrect. I entered Coventry (Lanchester) Polytechnic in 1983 and completed my degree 3 years later in 1986 (I received credit for my industry year beforehand). Some long standing lecturers near retirement handed out photocopies with the Lanchester name another Coventry (Lanchester) was more common. My degree certificate was awarded in the summer of 1986 is formerly titled Coventry Polytechnic (no mention of Lanchester). I am not exactly sure, when Coventry Polytechnic superseded Lanchester, it was before 1987. Does anyone know of proper formal records, in order to correct the Coventry Polytechnic date here in Wikipedia? dmode (talk) 09:29, 24 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Graham Sutherland building

edit

"The Graham Sutherland building was the main building for the Art and Design faculty. It has since been demolished and replaced with the Delia Derbyshire building."

I'm not in any way saying that is incorrect, but it doesn't appear to be supported by any source I can find, certainly not this one. Harfarhs (talk) 22:00, 1 June 2023 (UTC)Reply
