Found a good source for minor candidates

LC done too. We need to keep an eye on who's running on a ticket and who's running ungrouped, though, because of SA's rather bizarre LC system. Frickeg (talk) 00:09, 4 February 2010 (UTC)

Candidates for the Legislative Council

There are no Labor candidates listed in the Legislative Council yet. I note that Labor SA also aren't listing them on their website. Seems a bit strange.

But my calculations show me that the sitting candidates, at least, who are up for re-election would be:

• Bernard Finnigan
• Paul Holloway
• John Gazzola
• Gail Gago

If someone wants to list them on the main page and has a suitable way of doing it, go ahead. Thought I'd just list them here for now as it wouldn't really be a complete (and confirmed) list.

No, unfortunately it's just a list of current MLCs (minus Carmel Zollo, for some reason), and one candidate, with no discrimination between who's up for election and what order they're in. I did exactly the same thing when I first saw it, though. Frickeg (talk) 22:59, 23 February 2010 (UTC)

The ballot has been drawn by the Electoral Commision today, as a result i have added the listed ALP Canditates to this artical... Only if they have more than one candidate. The other candidates can all go in one section. And they certainly shouldn't be in order of A through AI. We do it roughly by order of significance of the party. Frickeg (talk) 22:07, 6 March 2010 (UTC)

Yep. See here, or here. Similar to the decision a while ago to have results listed in order of votes received. It's much easier if the Labor and Coalition candidates come first, and then the rest of the parties that hold seats. Frickeg (talk) 02:23, 7 March 2010 (UTC)
