All Homes edit

Hi. The All Homes article read like advertising, and did not show how this article is notable. (another user agreed by adding the delete because spam tag). If the article is notable (as per Wikipedia:Notability), please add citations. If you want more time to work out the article, you can use a subpage of your userspace, e.g. User:Tdmalone/work. If you want the text from the deleted article as an start, I can copy it into e.g. User:Tdmalone/work if you want. Does this help? -- Chris 73 | Talk 14:51, 13 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Done. See User:Tdmalone/Work/All Homes. Happy editing -- Chris 73 | Talk 14:55, 13 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I noticed that you uploaded Image:Phillip from Swinger hill.jpg and specified that it cannot be used commercially. Images on wikipedia are supposed to be licenced freely and allow commercial use. --Astrokey44 04:51, 22 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Ah, thanks. I did that on behalf of a friend who is also a Wikipedian. He has agreed to change the license, so I'll fix that up now. --Tim 09:12, 22 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Lifestream Christian Fellowship edit

The article Lifestream Christian Fellowship has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. NawlinWiki 19:06, 23 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Jesus, All About Life edit

You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles. See the Article Wizard.

Thank you.

A tag has been placed on Jesus, All About Life, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.

If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Jesus, All About Life and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from independent reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. 110.33.178.87 (talk) 13:31, 29 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Smith Family.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Smith Family.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 03:27, 19 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

July WMAU Melbourne Meetup edit

Hi, At last month's June meetup we discussed the idea of setting up a Training Course at a University of the Third Age (U3A) to be held in 2013 and named Becoming a Wikipedia editor. In order to get this course up and running we are calling for volunteers to help develop the idea, and either tutor part of the course, or provide one on one help to students in the class. All local Wikipedians are welcome to discuss this at our 11am meetup to be held this Sunday on 22 July. Please add your name to the attending list at Wikipedia:Meetup/Melbourne 23. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process.
