Dead link
editCache Creek was originally known to the Hudson's Bay Company trappers as Rivière la Cache [1].
Just a note that this link is good. Marcia Wright (talk) 05:30, 25 July 2008 (UTC)
Yeaar round hunting is now allowed, because of the wolf problem.
Reference # 13 is a broken URL link — Preceding unsigned comment added by 165.235.31.126 (talk) 23:35, 28 October 2024 (UTC)
Lead and Geography
editThe geography in the lead was totally wrong. I fixed it (maybe with too much detail -- a map would help!), but I'll move it to a new section (or to hydrology?) and summarize everything in the lead. (Also see my related edits on water levels in Clear Lake) Alanf777 (talk) 23:33, 13 February 2014 (UTC)
- I did a whole bunch of reorganizing. There's a bit of overlap between Geography and Hydrology: I might merge the two. Alanf777 (talk) 01:14, 14 February 2014 (UTC)
- The solution to the two sections is to rename "hydrology" as "dams", and describe the three dams here. I moved details of the Capay dam there. I looked at a couple of other california rivers, and there doesn't seem to be any consistency in section names. Alanf777 (talk) 20:57, 18 February 2014 (UTC)

The official name is settling basin -- and wiki now prefers that over settling pond. Alanf777 (talk) 15:08, 23 June 2014 (UTC)
2014 Zero Yolo water allocation
editThere is NO water release from either Cache Creek (The first time since 1991) or Indian Valley in 2014..[1] Is that notable enough to add to the article? Alanf777 (talk) 15:13, 23 June 2014 (UTC)
