Source interpretation edit

I had to make some significant fixes after examining this article at DYK. The type specimen was found in 1973 and published in 1974. It was not found in Antananarivo; that's where the journal reporting the species description was published. "Terra typica" means the location of the type specimen, not the typical habitat of the species. The distribution from iucnredlist.org includes the phrase "these protected areas", indicating that "Anjanaharibe Sud" etc. refer to national parks and nature reserves. I have corrected the distribution accordingly. In addition, I winnowed down the sources as well. It's better to have a few high-quality web sources like that of the IUCN than a bunch of them that are just scraping databases from who-knows-where. Choess (talk) 06:43, 3 December 2012 (UTC)Reply

Wrong describer edit

It isnn't Patrick Blanc but the french herpetologist Charles Pierre Blanc (1933-). Former was born 1953 and definite a few years under age. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Keultjes (talkcontribs) 11:49, 3 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
