Bernie Goldberg has moved into a position as commentator, taking a definite conservative bias. He title should be former journalist. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Rhusick (talkcontribs) 04:47, 16 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Goldberg's page appears to be fawning, unadulterated hagiography. Have the minders been at work cleaning it up? Activist (talk) 20:05, 15 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

And how do I see the Archive?
Is it "not for public view"? Charles Edwin Shipp (talk) 16:59, 5 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
Click the "through May 2009" link in the archive box. In my browser, it's just to the right of this section. Mark Shaw (talk) 17:49, 5 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

No Controversy section? edit

I can't believe there is no listing of some of the more controversial things he has said. For example just last week on Bill O'Rielly's show I saw him claiming that Barack Obama had not released his birth certificate. Which of course is not true (and easily check-able). 24.207.226.108 (talk) 16:18, 1 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

His remarks about liberals and children with Down Syndrome should be noted as well. Coolgamer (talk) 23:19, 10 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
What are you referring to? Google finds (for me) one instance of his taking "liberals" to task for presumably not caring for the fact that Sarah Palin chose to take Trig Palin to term. Was that it?
(And, to the IP editor: you might have provided a link to a video/audio/transcript where Goldberg claims that Obama has not released his birth certificate.)
This isn't an appropriate place to argue about Goldberg himself, of course, but if (as the IP editor has suggested) there should be a "criticism" section, it should stand upon firm ground. Mark Shaw (talk) 05:33, 11 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Bernie Goldberg (and his books) are very historically important, since he had a long career at CBS and came out of the cold to criticize. Charles Edwin Shipp (talk) 17:04, 5 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Obama has only released the short form of his birth certificate with only a handful of state officials seeing the full thing. This fact is well known. It is also commonly believed(well, at least on the right and some independents, and I agree with them here) that he has not released his birth certificate because he wants the birther's to stick around because they make the right and Tea Party goer's look bad. He could dispel these rumors easily by releasing his full birth certificate but he chooses not to (you can debate alternative reasons as to why he doesn't). As for coolgamer, what are these remarks exactly? Ink Falls 19:42, 30 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Jon Stewart edit

Perhaps a reference to the ongoing feud and mutual criticism between Goldberg and the Daily Show's John Stewart? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.185.19.28 (talk) 05:43, 21 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

That has been funny, but probably a little premature. We can see how it progresses, but just a reminder that WP is not news. Arzel (talk) 02:49, 22 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

there should also be a consideration for adding a topic discussing his hypocrisy and biases, which are well documented through Youtube clips. Dmcvittie84 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 04:03, 22 April 2010 (UTC).Reply

As of now, I don't think it should. Jon Stewart seems to get into brief feuds with a lot of people, but in the end it seems like recentism which leads to inessential news coverage. Truthsort (talk) 15:27, 22 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Birthplace edit

Since his books often talk about his life in the Bronx, wouldn't it be clearer to list that as his birthplace instead of the less clear New York City? Kirk311 (talk) 00:52, 25 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Miami ? edit

For some reason there is a Miami Wikiproject template on this page. In that there is nothing in the article about Miami, I am removing the template.GroveGuy (talk) 05:13, 27 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

What kind of name is Goldberg? Lets tell more about his personal life, if he wants us to, and lets be nice to him. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 184.98.124.118 (talk) 10:24, 5 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Switch hitter? edit

Any information on his sexual preferences? Has he ever have a sexual experience with another male? 101.51.135.193 (talk) 11:32, 29 August 2013 (UTC)Reply
