M60B46? edit

"The M62B46 is the name of the BMW variant of the Alpina B10 V8 (347hp) engine. It's pretty much identical to the Alpina engine but mass-produced instead of handbuilt. In the X5 4.6iS it produces 342hp and 480Nm."

Fail. This is the M60 article, not M62. Paulmer2003 (talk) 02:13, 6 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

"Because engine was since replaced"? edit

What's with the Engrish in this article? It's not even good German engrish, it's straight Chinese engrish. Sad to see because it (rightfully) casts doubt on the entire article. Linns (talk) 00:50, 25 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Crank configuration? edit

Is this a crossplane or a flatplane engine? --Arny (talk) 19:10, 10 July 2012 (UTC)Reply

Nikasil section edit

Just to explain the big changes for this controversial section, I have removed uncited claims and stripped the section back to text directly supported by verifiable references. Also, I suspect some of the previous text was specific to certain countries only, since the problem depends on the fuel used and therefore varies by country. Photo needed edit

Hi. Currently the only photo we have of the M60 is of the Alpina version. If anyone has a photo of an M60 engine, that would be very helpful. Cheers, 1292simon (talk) 21:34, 24 December 2017 (UTC)Reply
