This article claims there was at least one injury in the cafe bombing, but the article Émile Henry claims there were none. Neither claim is referenced.Yorkist (talk) 07:55, 6 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

The bombing in question concerns the Chamber of Deputies, not the cafe. The bombing of a cafe was at the hands of Emile Henry.
It seems the question here is what is meant by "hurt". The link in this page (which oddly enought actually contradicts the article itself in the number of injuries) says that the bomb only caused twenty deputies to be "sligthly injured". Emile Henry is not necessarily in contradiction, if you consider that his anger for the execution of Vaillant concerns an incident that didn't cause any fatalities, no one got "hurt". This is relative to a scenario of death penalty. Maziotis (talk) 19:15, 6 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
Hi Maziotis. I meant to refer to the Chamber of Deputies bombing by Vaillant, not the cafe bombing by Henry, so thanks for pointing out that error. But we still have the contradiction; How many injured deputies? None, one, or twenty? Not a huge issue, since all sources seem to state the injuries were minor. Still, I think it's worth leaving the tags here until someone with access to some original sources comes along.Yorkist (talk) 09:33, 8 September 2008 (UTC)Reply
The Emile Henry's article doesn't mention anything about how many deputies were injured. There is no contradiction with this article. I think we should remove the tags and put a "citation needed" in front of the inujuries reference. Maziotis (talk) 09:51, 10 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Birth date

edit

In an account of the interrogation by the police by Mitchell Abidor in Le Matin, the author claims the birthdate as told by Valiant at 29th December 1861. Can a section be added detailing the events of the day the bomb was thrown? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Thundersparkf (talkcontribs) 10:32, 16 January 2021 (UTC)Reply
