The collected photo of all of this is not CC-licensed per discussion at Commons:Commons:Village_pump/Copyright/Archive/2015/10#6_CC-By-SA_photos_merged_and_manipulated.3B_is_product_necessarily_CC-By-SA.3F. Originally I expected that derivatives of CC-By-SA content would also be CC-By-SA, which is not the case and my misunderstanding. Blue Rasberry (talk) 18:35, 11 March 2016 (UTC)Reply

Merged content

edit

Another Believer was working on this article today, and I combined the content I had with theirs and published the article. He articulated the nature of the project and my contributions were supplementary material to his overview. His content originally came from Draft:Art+Feminism. Stats

edit

How should the "Most recent" field in the in the infobox be represented if not by the most recent event as shown on the dashboard? The event is global, annual and usually in March. 2017 is clealy wrong, because it did take place in March 202o, but events are ongoing. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vexations (talkcontribs) 11:28, 15 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for highlighting. Here are some reports completed for WMF with the most recent stats. Art+Feminism is very much active!--Kiraface (talk) 13:17, 16 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi Vexations,
I'll look for some more third-party sources, but--unless I'm misreading the first, first-party source--wasn't the most recent event 6/20/2020?
I see a lot of cancelled in-person March edit-a-thons on university calendars. Those might help support the first-patry sources.
I know it's implied, but do you have a COI with Art+Feminism?
Thanks!

FeldBum, per User:Vexations/CoI, yes, but I'm more concerned about an apparent CoI than one that makes it impossible for me to write neutrally about the subject. I have never been paid to edit, I am not a member, organizer, employee or volunteer for Art+Fem but I am a participant in several of their edit-a-thons and I do know several of the people involved with the organization.
The problem with the "most recent" event it that it's a small event, and has been contested. Broadly speaking, the bulk of the edit-a-thons have always been some time in March. This year, March coincided with the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, and in-person events were cancelled or moved online. Some took place after March, and they're all shown on the outreachdashboard. I'd rather not see that date get outdated every time am edit-a-thon takes place, since that happens frequently. Hence I suggested March as a compromise. But perhaps there is a better way, like changing the template to one for an organization, like {{Infobox organization}} that doesn't require regular updates.
Thanks for your help, Vexations (talk) 20:52, 16 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
Got it. So the main event happens once per year, with multiple events comprising the primary event.
But there wasn't a "single" date when the event occurred; rather it was spread across March.
I'll look for some more edits and make those changes.
