This article is really well done and presents a very clear picture of Amma Asante's work. I liked that you were able to find information on early life as well as I feel it lends good information to understand how long they have been working in film and entertainment. I think the sources you have used provide a great amount of credibility to the article and ensure that Amma Asante's notability is high. I would look to move the Personal Life section nearer to the top to match with the early life section as I find the break between the Early Life and Personal Life a little jarring. The Writing and Directing section is clearly very well defined. The other piece I wondered about was using the collapsible table for the Filmography. I wonder if it would be better to have this as a fully visible section like the rest. Overall this is really great. EverydayGirlDad (talk) 18:56, 31 October 2018 (UTC)

Overall this article is written very well. It has a lot of detail, is written in a neutral, non-bias tone, and the citations are done correctly, and are from credible and peer reviewed sources. In particular, the “Writing and directing career” is a very detailed and comprehensive section. With great detail, this section gives readers an in-depth look at the most important highlights of Asante’s career as a writer and director. By the amount of detail in this section it is clear that extensive research and effort was put into writing this section. The filmography section is also very well organized in table that clearly outlines the title of the film, the year it was released and Asante’s role in the production of the film. There are some improvements that can be made to the article, there are minor grammatical errors in the article, specifically in the “Writing and directing career” section. It would also be beneficial to move the “Personal Life” section before the “Writing and Director Career” section, so that the article is split between Asante’s personal biographical information and details about her career. Asante is the writer of the Belle film script and was denied a writer credit by the Writers Guild of America west as she was also the film's director. - Yes we are aware, but the picture you uploaded to replace the "mis-identified" picture of Amma is not free, which means it will be deleted in a few days and also, if you are Amma yourself or her agent, you could upload a picture of yourself/her to wikipedia which has been taken by you or someone close, avoid using pictures taken by stock photography sites like Getty or Wireimage as they are never free for use..--Stemoc (talk) 00:04, 28 September 2013 (UTC)
