Birthplace edit

I've switched Alexander Edler's birthplace to Östersund (it was previously listed as Stockholm). I've seen it listed both ways, and generally I've found that the 'obvious' city when there is a discrepancy is the result of people simply not having done their homework. He was a guy playing up north when discovered by Canuck scouts, which also makes the big city seem unlikely. Does anyone know for sure? J21 20:07, 14 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

He's an ethnic jamtlander, for sure. Don't know whether he's born in Östersund or not, but that is the most likely thing if he comes from the region.

His parents lived on the same address in 1980 (source Sveriges befolkning 1980) as Alexander was recorded at in 2006 (source birthday.se), in Östersund. Nurtharikja (talk) 22:40, 16 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Off the Ice edit

This is a very good article, but there are some big problems with the references.

  • # 3 and # 33 redirect to the Canucks' Home page
  • # 5 and #7 are dead.
  • # 10 and # 11 redirect to the WHL home page
  • # 18 looks like the same as # 21 but #18 redirects to the Canuck Home page.

as for the proses I didn't see too much wrong just a couple of things:

  • "However, an hip injury saw him assigned to the Manitoba Moose." it should be "a" hip injury.
  • "He also known for his poise and confidence with the puck, allowing him to make strong first passes out of the defensive zone to forwards." it should read He "is" also known...

These and the links are taken care of I'll pass this. As a suggestion you might want to look into archiving some of your links. Web Cite is a free and easy site to use. The Citation Template allows for a archiveurl= spot provided you add a archivedate=. I'm only mentioning it because you do a lot of work and it seems like you often have to go back and fix dead links. I can suck to Archive a lot of references but I think it pays off in the end.

I'll put this on hold till the above is taken care off. Cheers--Mo Rock...Monstrous (talk) 23:33, 24 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thanks very much for the review. I addressed all the above issues with the exception of the WHL link. When that ref is replaced, I'll leave a message on your talk page. Cheers. Orlandkurtenbach (talk) 03:23, 25 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Links have been fixed so all of my concerns are taken care of. Good work.--Mo Rock...Monstrous (talk) 23:39, 27 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
