Requested updates from Adama

edit

Hi,

I have been requested by Adama to update their article. They are concerned that this should be done properly and in compliance with Wikipedia rules so they have come to me, a paid editor, to do this for them. The updates include a name change for the company from ADAMA Agricultural Solutions to ADAMA Ltd. following their alliance with Hubei Sanonda Co. Ltd.. Here are the proposed updates Updates Gibmul (talk) 11:58, 4 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Not done Their website still calls them "Adama Agricultural Solutions UK Ltd" Theroadislong (talk) 12:19, 4 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
There is lots of change, which some of them only backed by primary source. To me it is not that encyclopedic to have a new section called "Corporate social responsibility". Matthew hk (talk) 12:07, 4 February 2019 (UTC)Reply
@Theroadislong:, it is the name of the UK subsidiary. It seem the official site detect where you are, which on my side it display "Adama Australia". Yes it need source to prove the name of the parent company had change to simply "Adama". Matthew hk (talk) 12:24, 4 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi @96.242.25.32:, here is my assessment of the request edit:
1.   Partly done I did not trust the Farmer's Guide source so I switched it with a Bloomburg source. For the number of employees, where did this link for the annual report come from? How can I verify that it is correct? I would prefer a secondary source for these numbers, but if we are using the annual report I need to know that it is authentic. I also removed the reference from the infobox, per WP:INFOBOXREF but ensured the information was mentioned and cited in the article.
2.   Not done PRN presswire is a collection of press releases from a company. A secondary source is prefered for a fact like this. If one is provided I will reevaluate.
3.   Done but reworded the information to clarify that this was reported by the company.
Please post responses below. I will keep this request open so that other editors can see the request, too. Z1720 (talk) 02:54, 4 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
