The information on this page (excluding the first paragraph and the discography)is taken from my recollections of the group as a teenager and young adult who was a big fan between 1987 and 1993. It is accurate and I think would be corroborated by people from the organization. Folding Chair 05:51, 27 December 2005 (UTC)Reply

All of the information looks accurate to me, Folding Chair. (I'm the guy who cleaned up the discography, but I wasn't logged in when I did it a few months ago.) I got the release dates off of the original album fold-outs, etc., as I own everything they've put out except their very rare releases "Perfect Peace" and "He Leadeth Me." Although you can apparently get the latter off of the online iTunes store now. I'll need to check that out. Porce 07:50, 12 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

"ACAPPELLA"? edit

why is the name all in caps? Geekosaurus talk - 03:30, 6 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

The group's name is stylized that way on some of their album covers, which is my guess as to why it was set that way in the article. I changed it to "Acappella" throughout. —ADavidB 20:28, 7 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Gary Yeager edit

He hasn't been a preacher or worship leader for decades. He works as a bookkeeper (though I can't remember which company hired him after he left Raven Plumbing). AndersUnmenschlich (talk) 09:29, 22 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Also, why is his fertility relevant to the article? He is a member of the Quiverfull movement: should this be mentioned as well? If so, should the article also mention that his wife is twelve and a half years younger than him? That he beat and sometimes starved his ten children as discipline? What information about this former Acappella member adds value or interest to this article? What doesn't? Why? AndersUnmenschlich (talk) 10:47, 22 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Information about Yeager would be measured by how much it is covered by reliable sources. Thus far, no sources have been provided to support the additional information written above. (We should have source(s) for what's already included, as well.) —ADavidB 00:55, 29 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
Ah, so what's already included should be removed. Done! I'll let you know when I get my autobiography published, and link you to whatever interviews I end up doing. (Might be a while longer: turns out trauma's hard to put on paper for a few reasons.) AndersUnmenschlich (talk) 05:14, 29 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
