If the number of kids my father has is relevant, surely the fact that he forced his (much younger) wife to have them is relevant as well. It explains why and how he has so many! If how he's managed to have so many kids doesn't matter, neither does the fact that he's been so fecund. Why list the number of notches in his fertility belt at all? (As a side note, he's not a preacher or worship leader anymore. Hasn't been for decades; since I was a teenager. That edit should stay, at least.)
If I'm going to be listed as a tally on my father's headboard—ten whole kids!—I'd quite like the world to know how he had me, as well. I could've mentioned the way he beat us. I could've crosslinked to Michael Pearl's book, To Train Up A Child.
