Talk edit

Does anyone know what in the world this rather imaginative dramatization is based on? It ain't the Bible I know. Brahmon (talk) 14:42, 14 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

As you said, it is an imaginative dramatization of the Book of Acts (or will be). Whether the writers actually read it is yet to be seen. — Wyliepedia 16:01, 14 April 2015 (UTC)Reply
The essential elements of the Gospels and Book of Acts are laid out in this show while adding filler dramatization and downplaying some aspects of the Book of Acts so as to avoid offending some viewers. --Jtpaladin (talk) 15:47, 22 December 2018 (UTC)Reply

Episode summaries edit

Not that I am claiming ownership, but I will no longer add summaries to the episodes if IPs are going to come behind and add to (more than is suggested) and change them – namely, remove wikilinks to names, places, and biblical events to help readers further understand the series and its characters. — Wyliepedia 01:15, 3 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Page/show title edit

The title of the series does not appear to have a colon, judging by the official site: http://www.nbc.com/ad-the-bible-continues the imdb entry: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4074084/ and the actual title screen when the show runs: http://www.soyadorador.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/AD+The+Bible+Continues.jpg 207.30.184.200 (talk) 18:15, 28 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

Classification as a "miniseries" edit

It appears this show does not fit the definition of a Miniseries. A miniseries is a TV show 'that tells a story in a predetermined, limited number of episodes.' While this show only ran for a single season, it was not intended to end yet. Shows that are cancelled after 1 season instead of renewed do not become de facto miniseries. Should it not be reclassified as a normal TV series? CurtBennett (talk) 10:06, 8 February 2016 (UTC)Reply

Netflix edit

It seems this series made it's way to Netflix, where it is now known as "A.D. Kingdom and Empire". FYI - theWOLFchild 07:12, 24 October 2017 (UTC)Reply
