I really don't think it's necessary to have this as a separate article for this tornado. It would be better suited as a section at Tornado outbreak of April 27–28, 2002, since that article already exists. Separating them is an unnecessary content fork. @TornadoLGS: I think at the time, that was a fair argument due to the state of the article not adding much; however that's a much different story now. Especially when you consider its impact on the Enhanced Fujita scale, and the records it broke (e.g. forward speed, longevity, intensity, et cetera) in this general high populated area. Even as of 2024, an intense (F4/EF4 or greater) hasn't been seen anywhere close (radius of ~400 miles / north of 33 N & east of 80 W) for well over 2 decades.
