Hello, Talk Page reader
Welcome! This is just to inform you that I am a paying resident at Heritage on the Marina - which is operated by San Francisco Ladies Protection and Relief Society. I am not, however, being paid for writing this article. I decided to create this entry because I admire the history, the dedication and the ongoing ability to stay on top of seas of legal and cultural changes that have occurred during the Society's 170 years.
I will do me best to maintain a neutral point of view, respect intellectual property and cite authoritative sources. I look forward to hearing your thoughts and comments on making this a better article.

The first draft of this article is at least ready for comments. Please note that there is more to come. This draft was prepared without accessing Rowena Bean's and Ashley Clarke's histories of the San Francisco Ladies Protection and Relief Society. Apparently, copies of these works are available at the San Francisco Public Library but are not available as loans. I plan to visit the Library in the near future. Also missing are images of the portraits of Horace Hawes, Mrs Crocker and Minnie Nelson in San Francisco Ladies Protection and Relief Society's possession.
A full entry on "Heritage on the Marina" is planned. This article will cover the premises including the architecture of Julia Morgan.
