This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Nigel Foster (kayaker), and it appears to include material copied directly from http://nigelfosterkayaks.com/about_us.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. Speedy deletion nomination of Nigel Foster (kayaker)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Nigel Foster (kayaker) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Draft article on Andrew G Jameson

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of Draft article on Andrew G Jameson, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: Template:Biography. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 07:48, 26 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Threejs

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Threejs, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. JohnBlackburnewordsdeeds 15:33, 15 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Nomination of Three.js for deletion

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Three.js is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Three.js (2nd nomination) until a consensus is reached, and anyone is welcome to contribute to the discussion. License tagging for File:Dorman-henry-smith-1940s.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Dorman-henry-smith-1940s.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.

To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 06:31, 9 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited John J. Glessner House, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Romanesque. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

You have done some tremendous research. I am quite confident that other Chicagoans will chip in to help you clean it up. I have posted it to WT:CHICAGO. This wiki work is inspiring. Being involved in presenting the great history of our city through the lens of wikipedia is a special opportunity and you have seized it. About 6 or 7 years ago, I met one of Daniel Burnham's descendants. I am glad to have met you on wiki and would love to meet in person. • You have two or three ways to get some feedback at this time. You can nominate this at T:TDYK within 7 days of the move into mainspace and you will be required to add a lot of citations in all likelihood. Alternatively, you can post at WP:PR, which will likely pair you up with someone who can help you clean up the article. Eventually, you can nominate this at WP:GAC, but a lot of cleanup should be done to get this past that level of scrutiny. If you are willing to work, I would take one of those actions.--TonyTheTiger (T / C / WP:FOUR / WP:CHICAGO / WP:WAWARD) 01:02, 12 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • TonyTheTiger, thank you for the suggestions as to what to do next. It would be really cool to get to WP:DYK status, but as a newb it's probably better to for me follow a slower, more gentle route - and work hard on getting the article to WP:GAC level. And, as I now understand things a new WP:GAC article can also be a WP:DYK. So I think I will start with a WP:PR - which I will do in a day or two once I have read up more on the process. Again thank you for your time and effort. I will keep you apprised of progress. TheoA (talk) 07:46, 12 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:San Francisco Ladies Protection and Relief Society

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:San Francisco Ladies Protection and Relief Society requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.zeimer.com/wp-content/uploads/006-TH-AnlRpt_22x17_03lr.pdf. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
