Notability?

edit

Very debatable this person is due a page. I can recall this particular page being deleted in the past for that exact reason. RossButsy (talk) 00:55, 9 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

@RossButsy: the page was deleted as a soft PROD as it had no participation other than the person who made the AfD. Since then, multiple new sources were discovered that prove his notability, including The Sunday Times, TenEighty Magazine, ITV News and reliable newspapers such as the Norwich Evening News. Previous drafts were rejected due to consisting of unreliable sources like YouTube, Metro and Daily Mail alongside sock puppet concerns. All these concerns were already addressed before being accepted in AfC, and he now meets WP:GNG and WP:BASIC. PantheonRadiance (talk) 06:19, 10 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

There’s people with far more notoriety than the subject in question who don’t have a page. This for me doesn’t meet the notability guidelines. I’ll be continuing to campaign for deletion. RossButsy (talk) 14:56, 10 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

RossButsy Please see WP:OSE if you haven't already. If you believe there are people with more notability than him, you're welcome to create pages for them, so long as you can prove they meet Wikipedia's guidelines.
Also, you're free to propose an AfD if you truly believe he isn't sufficiently notable. However, considering there are multiple reliable sources that significantly cover him and his content, and that this page was already accepted via AfC, you would have to provide a genuinely compelling case that these sources don't prove notability. If you feel it's worth the effort, help yourself. PantheonRadiance (talk) 21:45, 10 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

No problem pal yeah. Like I said happened once before and I’m quite certain it’ll happen again. RossButsy (talk) 23:46, 10 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
