The McKibbin Brothers are professional beach volleyball players and FIVB snow volleyball players, media personalities, own a video production company, and are businessmen and consultants. Riley McKibbin (born September 9, 1988 in Honolulu, Hawaii) is the elder brother. Maddison McKibbin (born November 16, 1990 in Honolulu, Hawaii) is the younger brother.

Personal life edit

The McKibbin Brothers are Riley and Maddison. They are siblings. Both are from Honolulu, Hawaii (The island of Oahu). Maddison is the blocker and spikes the volleyball left-handed. They credit a relative for inspiring them to be volleyball players. Maddison McKibbin married Chelsea Hayes on August 28, 2021. Riley McKibbin is coupled with Carli Lloyd (also a volleyball player).[1]The McKibbin's mother is Diana McInerny McKibbin a former professional women's volleyball player.[2]

Career edit

Riley McKibbin was on the volleyball team at Punahou that won three Division I State titles from 2004 to 2006. In 2007, he was on Volleyball Magazine's (VM) Fab 50 list. Riley McKibbin attended University of Southern California or USC for college and was captain and the starting setter of the NCAA Division I Men's Indoor Volleyball Team.[3] Maddision McKibbin's Punahou High School volleyball team won in 2006, 2007, and 2009. He was the MVP of the Fab 50 list (VM) in 2009. At USC, Maddison McKibbin was captain and starting opposite and outside hitter.[4]

After college, both played overseas for the professional European volleyball league. In 2015, Riley and Maddison played beach volleyball in the United States (the Association of Volleyball Professionals, AVP) and promoted the sport of beach volleyball. Maddison McKibbin won the AVP San Francisco Open with Ty Loomis in July 2017.[5] In September 2017, they created a YouTube channel. In 2018, the McKibbin Brothers' popular 4-Man volleyball event entitled "The Greatest Beach Volleyball Match Ever: AVP vs NBA" was uploaded to YouTube.[6] In 2020, the CBS show The Amazing Race 32 offered a million dollar prize to the winner. The McKibbin Brothers placed third.[7]
