M. Karthikeyan is an advocate[1], Author[2], and Educator[3] from India. He is Senior Central Government Panel Counsel of the Government of India in Madras High Court[4]
Early Life edit
He was born on 29-12-1978 in Chennai. In the early stages of life he was mentoring the students preparing for the competitive exams. He served as the director of the Manidhaneyam IAS Academy and also held the position of Guest Faculty at the All India Civil Services Coaching Centre in Chennai.[5]
Education and career edit
He completed his Bachelor of Commerce at D.G. Vaishnav College, Chennai, in 1999. He received his law degree from Dr. Ambedkar Law University, Chennai, in 2001. He joined as an advocate in 2004. From 2004 to 2018, worked as an advocate in the law office of Hon’ble Mr. Justice Audikesavalu. In 2018, he was appointed as Additional Government Pleader of the Government of Tamil Nadu in Madras High Court. During this period, the government represented itself in a variety of cases, including those related to state and central statutes. In 2020, he was appointed as the special government pleader of the HR&CE department of the Government of Tamil Nadu[6]. He also acted as standing counsel for organizations such as CMDA, SBI, and SIPCOT. In 2021, he was appointed as Senior Central Government Panel Counsel of the Government of India in Madras High Court[7]

As an educator, he readied students for various competitive exams, including UPSC, TNPSC[8], and SSC. As a visiting faculty member at Aram IAS Academy, All India Civil Service Coaching Centre, He shares his knowledge with many aspirants, helping them to become Civil Servants.[9]His guidance has played a role in helping individuals achieve ranks in All India competitions.[10]

The Sri Varadaraja Perumal Temple in Kancheepuram has a unique tradition where the deity Athivardar emerges from the temple tank once every 40 years. So it became necessary to ensure that tank desilted so Madras high court directed M. Karthikeyan who was assistant Government pleader to visit the tank attached to Sri Varadaraja Perumal temple in Kancheepuram and examine whether it required cleaning, desilting and deepening and propose for whether the deity to be again kept in Temple tank[11]. He also has experience in banking & Money claims, Land Acquisition, Tamil Nadu HRCE department cases[12], Labour Law compliance, Arbitration & conciliation, Divorce & Guardianship & Registration of legal instruments.
