The emotional impact of this loss was devastating for Dusk, and he was never the same afterwards. The passing of his father had a profound effect on Dusk's life, and he eventually found himself making music and singing as a way to cope with his grief.
In 1997, the year after his father's passing, Dusk Lycanroc began practicing his singing and vocal skills. He was determined to make something of himself, and he poured his grief and pain into music and singing.
