The Cleary-Flood Generation Station is a 136 MW dual-fuel electrical power station in Taunton, Massachusetts. It is owned and operated by Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant.
Design
editThe plant consists of two units. The primary unit is a 110 MW combined-cycle system which can burn natural gas or No. 6 heating oil.[1] Originally built in 1975[2], this unit consists of a 20 MW gas turbine, and a 90 MW steam generator. A second unit, built in the 1965[2], has 26 MW capacity and exclusively burns residual or diesel oil.[3][4]
