2024 OFC Men's Nations Cup Group A

Group A of the 2024 OFC Men's Nations Cup is scheduled to take place from 15 to 21 June 2024. The group originally consisted of New Caledonia, defending champions New Zealand, Solomon Islands and hosts Vanuatu.[1][2] However, New Caledonia withdrew from the tournament on 5 June due to the serious crisis in the country, leaving the group with three teams left.[3]

Fair play points would have been used as tiebreakers if the overall and head-to-head records of teams were tied. These were calculated based on yellow and red cards received in all group matches as follows:[6]

  • first yellow card: −1 point;
  • indirect red card (second yellow card): −3 points;
  • direct red card: −4 points;
  • yellow card and direct red card: −5 points;

Only one of the above deductions will be applied to a player in a single match.
