The 2024 ICC Women's T20 World Cup is scheduled to be the ninth edition of ICC Women's T20 World Cup tournament.[1] It is scheduled to be hosted in Bangladesh from 3 to 20 October 2024.[2] Australia are the defending champions having defeated South Africa in final of the previous edition.

Teams and qualification edit
In July 2022 the ICC confirmed the qualification process for the tournament.[1] Bangladesh qualified for the tournament automatically as the hosts. Scotland qualified for the Women's T20 World Cup for the first time after defeating Ireland in the first semi-final of the qualifier.[3][4]

In July 2022, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed that two venues, Dhaka and Sylhet would host the matches.[5]
