2024–25 Indiana Pacers season

The 2024–25 Indiana Pacers season will be the 58th season of the franchise and the 48th season in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Rick Carlisle returned for his 8th season as head coach as the Pacers will look to continue building up on last season's success, which saw them reach the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since their 2012–13 and 2013–14 seasons.

Draft

edit
Round Pick Player Position(s) Nationality College / club
2 36 Juan Núñez PG   Spain Ratiopharm Ulm (Germany)
2 49 Tristen Newton PG   United States UConn
2 50 Enrique Freeman PF   United States Akron

The Pacers entered the draft (which will last for two straight days instead of one whole day like it had been since the NBA draft was shortened down to just two rounds back in 1989) with three second-round picks, acquired in deals surrounding Victor Oladipo, Buddy Hield, and Pascal Siakam.[1][2] On draft day, the Pacers traded Juan Núñez, the 36th pick and cash considerations to the San Antonio Spurs in exchange for the 35th pick, Johnny Furphy.
