Yashkul (Russian: Я́шкуль, Kalmyk: Яшкуль, Yaşkuľ) is a rural locality (a settlement) and the administrative center of Yashkulsky District of the Republic of Kalmykia, Russia. Population: 7,861 (2010 Russian census);[1] 7,399 (2002 Census);[2] 6,662 (1989 Soviet census).[3]
