Xymenopsis buccineus is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Muricidae, the murex snails or rock snails.[1]

Distribution edit
This antarctic marine species occurs off the South Orkney Islands and in the Strait of Magellan; it is also found in the East China Sea.
