Need help with creating a consensus edit

About 2 months ago, I made an RFC at Talk:Somalia#Somalia showed as controlling Somaliland. After a slow RFC after which the opinion remained split, nothing happened. Owing to a recent edit war regarding the image, I am posting this here for further input so this issue can be put to bed. Fantastic Mr. Fox (talk) 20:51, 26 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Tupocracy edit

Article is as much publicity for a BLP as anything else. And promoting Nigeria. This article Making Positive Impact in Leadership through Tupocracy: A Case Study of the Leadership Style of the Lord Jesus Chris by the creator of the idea was published in what appears to be predatory journal: [1] I'm not sure what to do with it but it's a mess. Doug Weller talk 08:53, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Honestly it could go straight to AfD. It appears to be a non-notable ideology promoted in a non-notable dissertation and then published into a non-notable book. Disproportionate weight for one individual's personal theory which hasn't received substaintal recognition outside of his own writings. — Czello (music) 09:05, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
@Czello If there is a book. Ok. Doug Weller talk 10:17, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yes, is there a book? In the Gateway Echo in 2020, a book called "Tupocracy: Leadership by example for the Church and Civil society" is described, with special mention of a 4th edition in 2018. But I can't find it actually for sale anywhere, or find the publisher, or an ISBN. Can anybody help? I'd like to AfD Tupocracy, but knowing about the book would be helpful. Does it exist? Is it self-published? Does it have an ISBN? Bishonen | tålk 15:32, 22 May 2024 (UTC).Reply
I'm talking about the book that's mentioned in the article, here. I wasn't aware of the one you mentioned – so there are at least two. Both are written by the man who coined the term, though, so I'm not sure it improves notability. — Czello (music) 17:16, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Bish’s book[2] Bighand International. Doug Weller talk 17:43, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I could only find one mention.[3]. So something very minor in Nigeria and not reliably published. Doug Weller talk 17:50, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. It's a pity BigHands International doesn't have any web presence. I'm also going to ping Piscili, who has analyzed similar articles in recent AfDs, here, here and here. Bishonen | tålk 18:42, 22 May 2024 (UTC).Reply
Thanks for the ping. I'll find time to take a look at it. Piscili (talk) 14:20, 23 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

British politics question edit

Hello, I had a question considering the UK general election has just been called today.

Currently there is an article called Labour Party leadership of Keir Starmer which details Starmer's time as the Leader of the party so far. However, all prime ministers have a 'Premiership of __' article. If Starmer does become the next prime minister (which looks likely), what should happen to the 'leadership' article? Should it be merged into the 'Premiership' article or kept separate as an article on his time in opposition? It is already quite long as it is. Thanks Michaeldble (talk) 21:39, 22 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

Infobox key positions parameter edit

I've noticed that a new convention has formed regarding the ideology parameter, which is to only put one or two all-encompassing ideologies (see Labour Party (UK)). It used to be the case that the ideology parameter had five or so more specific entries that gave the reader a good impression of the party at a glance (see Bharatiya Janata Party).

In light of this, I think there should be a 'key positions' parameter which has, say maximum five entries which editors agree on, including regarding their order, and they would be based on citations from recent academia. The policy on this could distinguish between social, economic, national, and international positions to ensure a wide coverage. A national one could be say Unionism for a UK party, and an international one could be Euroscepticism for a European party. Alexanderkowal (talk) 13:06, 23 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
