Justification edit

  • To have the shia view accurately represented, they need to be present in detail. Of course, the Shi'a view of the major Sahaba is so strongly different from the Sunni version, that it would dominate the article if it would be put in it, neccesitating a break out article.

This is of course in agreement with Wikipedia policies: WP:NPOV:

We should not attempt to represent a dispute as if a view held by a small minority deserved as much attention as a majority view, and views that are held by a tiny minority should not be represented except in articles devoted to those views. To give undue weight to a significant-minority view, or to include a tiny-minority view, might be misleading as to the shape of the dispute. Wikipedia aims to present competing views in proportion to their representation among experts on the subject, or among the concerned parties.
None of this is to say that tiny-minority views cannot receive as much attention as we can give them on pages specifically devoted to them.

And also WP:POVFORK

Sometimes, when an article gets long, a section of the article is made into its own article, and the handling of the subject in the main article is condensed to a brief summary. This is completely normal Wikipedia procedure; the new article is sometimes called a "spinout" or "spinoff" of the main article, see for example wikipedia:summary style, which explains the technique.
Even if the subject of the new article is controversial, this does not automatically make the new article a POV fork. Provided that all POVs are represented fairly in the new article, it is perfectly legitimate to isolate a controversial aspect as much as possible to its own article, in order to keep editing of the main article fairly harmonious.
Summary style articles, with sub-articles giving greater detail, are not content forking, provided that all the sub-articles, and the summary conform to Neutral Point of View.

Shia view of Fatimah edit

There is already a lot of information regarding here added to the main article, Fatimah Zahra. It is definitly given udue weight, the Shi'a view is totaly dominating the main article, but since nobody is objecting, it is still there. I will create a redirect, untill somebody gets there and starts raising the legitimate issue of the Shi'a view geting undue weight in the article. --Striver 15:31, 8 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
