Draft:Terms of orientation

edit

Having consulted with the maths people about this, I have been enlightened to the fact that the most basic concepts of orientation (i.e., that objects have a top, bottom, front, back, and sides) are as much a psychological phenomenon as a physical one. It is frankly amazing that for over 20 years, Wikipedia has had no explanation of this concept at this level (starting, rather, with much more complex anatomical and mathematical concepts of orientation and directionality). Any help in getting this article off the ground would be appreciated! BD2412 T 03:35, 28 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Note: This is now in mainspace, at Terms of orientation. BD2412 T 03:58, 24 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Significant OR at Thomas Szasz article; needs psych-interest eyeballs for spring cleaning

edit

A dive into the article Thomas Szasz revealed a large portion of primary-sourced material which I would label WP:OR. I don't normally edit BLPs and haven't edited anything in the psych-topics, so it really could use someone with more experience than me to evaluate it. There is a short thread on the talk page, and I tagged the article after doing some cleanup. Any insight would be appreciated.   ▶ I am Grorp ◀ 07:04, 30 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Merge proposal for Somatization disorder and Somatic symptom disorder.

I've started a discussion regarding the merging of Somatization disorder and Somatic symptom disorder here and I would really appreciate if others could give their input on the topic. CursedWithTheAbilityToDoTheMath (talk) 05:52, 24 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

Request to merge Frisson into Goose bumps

edit

I have noticed that these two articles talk about the same thing. I have created a proposal on Goose bumps's talk page to discuss a merger. 80.0.166.171 (talk) 01:08, 2 August 2024 (UTC)Reply
