Gjorche Petrov

edit

Please stop adding it to the list. The person is hardly relevant to the Republic of Macedonia, and it is added with the sole purpose to provoke enough people to try to label him as "Macedonian". ForeignerFromTheEast 16:31, 16 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Dear people,
Please keep the Gjorche Petrov controversy (if there is one) in the article and not on this To Do list. If there is a basis for adding Gjorche Petrov to the list, I am all for it, but please make the case for doing so (new information, new sources, etc), or, better yet, make the changes in the article provided they adhere to Wikipedia guidelines (neutrality, verifiability) and the editing guidelines, and are not simply vandalism. Please don't let this degenerate into an edit war.
The Gjorche Petrov article currently addresses the ethnicity issue (albeit inadequately, in my view!), so if this is simply a matter of saying "He's Macedonian. No, he's Bulgarian. NO, he's Macedonian. NO! He's Bulgarian. No, he's Sri Lankan...", please do not add Petrov to the list. The list is for articles which are stubs and/or genuinely require expansion.
