editI propose to rename this "Template:Japan-related article news" and expand the content to include featured-article candidates and peer review, deletion news etc. within this single place. Editors can watch this template for updates on all of these together with newest articles. Any comments?

Archiving
editHere's a suggestion for archiving: around the first of a month, archive entries earlier than the sixteenth of the previous month. For example, on May 1, archive entries up to April 15. The two-week delay would give articles time to remain visible in the template. Alternatively, around mid-month, back up the previous month's articles. What do you think? Fg2 03:06, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

Deletion section

Removing articles that have been assessed

New Articles MmL - Q
editDoes the "Manually-maintained list" contain articles that need to be assessed? Or is the list mainly to highlight new articles deserving attention? I noticed a couple of them didn't even have the WikiProject Japan banner on their Talk pages. Boneyard90 (talk) 14:47, 31 December 2010 (UTC)
