BrandonYusufToropov edit

  • Salaam all -- I'm Yusuf, and I live in suburban Mass with a beautiful family. Apropros of nothing, a friend asked me recently what the evidence is from Sunnah that we should make prostrations at certain points in the Qur'an during tarawih. She's looking for specific evidence that those particular points were points where the Prophet (pbuh) bowed during recitation of Qur'an. Any ideas where I could look this up? AngryNight: Hello Everybody! edit

السلام عليكم

I am interested in making Islam related articles accute, NPOV, well written, NPOV, informative, NPOV, easy to read, and did I mention NPOV. By the way, NPOV does not mean MPOV (Muslim POV), I've seen a little of that, but the fact is the systemic bias tends to be against muslims. It doesn't mean that POVs need to be balanced, they need to be absent, unless they are the POV of important people. While your parents may have convinced you that you are somehow special, you are in fact less important to this world than the bowl of minestrone soup I am currently sipping on. FYI (I happen to be less important than chicken noodle)Keep your POV out of edits, and we'll get along just fine.إن شاءالله Angrynight 04:22, 2 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

My name is Tanzeel. I live in London and I am an orthodox Sunni Muslim of the Hanafi madhab, originally from Sylhet in Bengal. I tend to follow the Deobandi tradition in Islamic thought.

I have been a user of wikipedia for some time, but it is only recently that I have become quite active as an editor.
