References - a request from WikiProject Opera

edit

As you all know, Wikipedia articles are not legitimate references. Could I please ask that where references are available in the original language WP article, you add them to the stubs you've created, e.g. [1]. If the original article was unreferenced then you should add something like this [2]. This alerts the projects looking after them that they need references. Also, could you please add appropriate project banners to the talk page, so that they don't slip under the radar. For anything opera-related (operas, singers, librettists, composers primarily of opera, etc.) simply add {{WikiProject Opera}}. For non-operatic classical composers in general, you can add {{Composers}}. If you don't want to transfer the references yourself (which would be ideal), could you at least banner the talk pages? Leave the class parameter blank. That will make them easier to find them via checking Category:Unassessed Opera articles. Best, Voceditenore (talk) 11:13, 28 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
