I don't make use of this page--- sorry but if an article contains dubious statement, I can't properly evaluate whether it is otherwise well written.

Is this page a left-over from the time when inline citations were most of all a formal requirement, no matter how well written the article otherwise was?

If so, could we please abolish it, to limit the amount of b'cracy?
