Pick up the Pace!! edit

I wish to state that this project has died a lot this month. No more 1.0 work has been done. Please pick up the pace. -- Punk Boi 8 04:27, 21 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

If no-one does any work by Tuesday, I will assign jobs!- Punk Boi 8 05:27, 22 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
And if they still don't edit your preferred articles, then what? Editors volunteer their time here. You cannot force them to do anything you want done. If anything, your attitude is going to drive them away! -- Longhair\talk 05:33, 22 January 2007 (UTC)Reply
Furthermore, you yourself have not done any work on this project since 23 December. If you want to see progress, maybe you should contribute something. Hesperian 06:55, 22 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

I have to agree with the other editors here. If you are dissatisfied with the progress of the project, you should look to yourself first and ask, "What can I do to help move this project along?" I have further clarified this in your mentoring plan. --Trödel 17:09, 22 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

The project is owned by the community. Anyone can make changes to this page. So if you want more action, create it yourself. --Nicko 13:28, 10 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Goals edit

What are we here to achieve? More members would join if we could show we knew where we were going. --Nicko 13:44, 10 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Pages required by template edit

I have updated WP Australia to match the new wikiproject. The parameters for the section require the following pages:

{{ #switch: {}
|FA|Fa|fa=
|A|a=
|GA|Ga|ga=
|B|b=
|Start|start=
|Stub|stub=
|NA|na =
|List|list=
|#default=
}}{{#switch:{class}
|NA|na|List|list=
|#default=
{{#switch:{Gold Coast-importance}
|Top|top=
|High|high=
|Mid|mid=
|Low|low=
|NA|na=
|#default=
}}}}

Could you please ensure that all exist, or drop me a line so that I can rename the links? ck lostswordTC 19:30, 10 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Recent changes to project edit

I have made a number of changes to this project including a name change and category changes. I understand if I've put anyones nose out of joint, however this project is currently stagnant and I felt this could lead to a revival.

I'll make further changes to this project page as time allows in order to make this project easier for users to work with. Perhaps we can get the collaboration happening again, but perhaps with a one article a month considering our current low member numbers. Your thoughts? Nicko 03:52, 11 July 2007 (UTC) Reply

Project renaming edit

The potential for any other "Gold Coast" projects being set up is nil, and Australian Gold Coast is by far more notable. We don't, for example, pre-disambiguate WP:PERTH. The renaming was un-necessary and intend to move it back, unless, of course, there are legitimate concerns.--cj | talk 04:20, 11 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

You are more than welcome to do that if you please. One particular reason I moved this is due to the main category being Category:Gold Coast, Queensland. Consistency made sense in my opinion, but at the end of the day, I'm just one wikipedian. --Nicko 06:52, 11 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Move back? Fair enough - do you want me to undo the template changes? ck lostswordTC 10:36, 11 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Not sure what you folks are up to - have put the word Australia in the lead sentence of the project page - otherwise at first glimpse it could be anywhere. SatuSuro 04:50, 13 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
It seems the rename went ahead as CJ wished. I still believe that Gold Coast, Queensland makes much more sense since if you goto Gold Coast you are given numerous different options for the Gold Coast. With the update by SatuSuro at least the project mentions which Gold Coast is in question. Perhaps as a newbit I should stear clear from such things and just stick to doing little edits. --Nicko 05:42, 13 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Scope edit

Please discuss what the scope of this project should be, so that an appropriate scope can be included on the project's page. --Nicko 13:44, 10 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I've added some information on the project page as a starting point. Please feel free to add to this. Nicko (TalkContribs) 01:09, 18 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
