First of all, that all articles of the communes in the respective department have an infobox. I proposed minimum required contents for the infobox here Wikipedia talk:WikiProject French communes#Assessment: department, arrondissement, canton, coordinates, map (if the right coordinates are given, the map is created by the infobox) and population. That's what I use when I check articles (currently working on Saône-et-Loire). Usually, French wikipedia has this information, and a lot more (area, mayor, pop. density). You can also find the info at www.ign.fr and www.insee.fr (the French geographical and statistical institutes). Markussep ^Talk 08:26, 11 April 2008 (UTC)
